My career has taken me from Edinburgh to Los Angeles and back again. Along the way I’ve worked in some of the world’s finest 4- and 5-star hotels including Edinburgh’s iconic Caledonian Hotel and L.A.’s St James Club. An extensive hospitality and tourism expertise is backed by strong business acumen honed at one of Scotland’s leading private banks, working as a market advisor for hotel development. Formed BTS in 2001, combining my experience and passion for the industry with his financial, analytical and business skills. Edinburgh-based we specialise in local, national and international tourism and leisure, with high-profile success stories including the project management for Scottish Enterprise of both MTV Edinburgh and the Gleneagles’ G8 Summit. When not working with clients to grow their business, you are likely to find me either on the ski slopes, playing golf, or cooking a stonebaked Pizza in my wood burning oven or testing my new Argentinian Asado Parrilla grill.
