Stella is a professional freelance travel writer and photographer currently based in Cuenca, Ecuador. She has lived abroad for over 7 years including time in China, S. Korea, Thailand, Guatemala, Mexico, and now Ecuador. She is also a verified copywriter for the travel and tourism industry.

Stella has published articles in both online and print media - including local Oregon newspapers, SLP News, www.trip101.com, and www.mapquest.com. Her current project is writing travel itineraries for the new Worldwide Navigators website.

She writes on travel and culture, history and historic places, festivals, food and wine, hotel and spa reviews, local museums and artisans, and travel with pets.

In addition to traveling, she enjoys quilting, reading, and playing with her furry companion, Paisley (a labradoodle).
