My name is Sharon Boston. I have a blog called Nerd Trips, which I describe as "Roads Less Traveled to Presidents, Poets and Other Historic Persons." It started out as a hobby of visiting presidential homes, birthplaces and libraries. When I started to share some of the fun stories of these trips and the interesting things I learned, several friends encouraged me to write a blog. While I always learn things at the destination, part of the fun is the laughs you have along the way, discovering small towns, local eateries and kooky characters!
