My name is Steve McLeish and I have been escorting my clients across the length and breadth of Scotland for several years. As a pioneer of the Ancestral Tourism sector in Scotland, I have had the privilege of helping my clients reconnect with their Scottish homeland, both through direct lineage and for those wishing to gain a better understanding of the roots of their Scottish surnames.

As a Professional Genealogist with an Honours Degree in History, I pride myself in being able to help guide my clients through the interesting (yet at times confusing) periods of Scottish history during their time in our wonderful country. I am fortunate that I am able to marry my two passions of History and Genealogy through my work and help my clients to gain a better understanding of Scotland and the unique factors that make up our fascinating Clan heritage.

I am a full member of the Association of Professional Genealogists (APG) and also the Visit Scotland Ancestral Welcome Scheme, which was set-up and is administered by our National Tourist Board, Visit Scotland.
