Orhideea Rosu is a senior travel industry professional with more than three decades of international experience in global travel distribution, hotel contracting, luxury tourism, aviation partnerships, and destination development. She currently serves as Destination Manager for the Benelux region at G2 Travel, where she leads strategic hotel sourcing, develops high-performing portfolios, and drives commercial growth, recently focusing on expanding the company’s partnerships across Netherlands.
Throughout her career, Orhideea has held senior contracting and commercial roles with leading global travel wholesalers including Destinations of the World (DOTW), Special Tours, Miki Travel, and WebBeds, negotiating and managing international hotel portfolios while building long-term partnerships with hospitality groups and independent properties worldwide.
Her experience also spans luxury tailor-made travel and destination promotion through the This is Athens Convention & Visitors Bureau, where she contributed to positioning Athens as a leading global destination and spoke at major international tourism events addressing audiences of 500+ professionals.
She also worked with the GSA offices in Athens representing Air Malta and TAROM, supporting airline sales, travel distribution, and holiday packages.
Orhideea additionally project managed Travel Trade Athens with the European Tourism Association (ETOA), bringing together hundreds of tourism suppliers and buyers from over 35 countries.
