About me

Nida Mahmoed is Pakistan's first feminist English poet, writer, internet entrepreneur, and philanthropist. Her debut chapbook collection of poetry title Broken Women of the Mountains was published in 2009, the First young Muslim poetess collection against Taliban's misogyny. She is mainly interested in travel, food, culture, and performing poetry. Mahmoed earned a review from the sixth annual solas awards for her travel story of "Sri Lanka; Beautiful train Journey from Ella to Kandy". Nida writes about feminism, culture, urban life, and food.
