I have held senior editorial positions with daily newspapers in Calgary, Edmonton and a group of weeklies in suburban Edmonton as copy editor, news editor, features editor and publisher. After retiring in 2005, I have published one book and have spent time as a travel writer visiting several countries and cities to write travel features aimed at promoting the areas as tourists destinations.
