About me

I am passionate about showcasing artisans around the world and creating breathtaking travel experiences for others. I am also a travel writer and photographer, with a focus on promoting traditional and contemporary artisan culture.

My talents include curating one-of-a-kind experiences and arranging detailed travel itineraries for short term and month-long trips. More than ten years in the hospitality industry has given me great insight into the world of fine food and beverage, furthering my knowledge of various cuisines and appreciation for all the different moving parts involved, such as chefs, farmers, sommeliers, and beyond.

My travel obsession has led me down enlightening paths. Some of my more curious experiences include directing a photo shoot with geisha in Tokyo, cycling through the Northern Territories of Hong Kong guided by a previous local food and culture columnist, and finding ultimate serenity overnight at a Buddhist temple atop UNESCO World Heritage Site Mount Koya.

I excel at planning and coordinating trips to delight the senses, whether it's enjoying a multi-course dinner featuring typhoon shelter cuisine aboard a traditional sampan boat in Causeway Bay, learning all about the science of aroma at a perfume factory in Grasse, or getting your hands dirty during harvest season at a tea plantation in the famous Uji region.
