Georgia! I'd be lying if I said the food and wine weren't the major factor in my love of Georgia. But the culture, landscapes, language, history, and street animals all add to that warm, fuzzy excitement I feel when I walk through Tbilisi.
There are so many places I'd love to visit some day:
- Chile, for its extremes from the Atacama to the lakes, to Patagonia.
- Greenland, to learn about the local culture and lifestyle
- Borneo, to see the nature & wildlife
- Cambodia & Laos, for more amazing food and ancient temples
- São Tomé & Principe for a slice of island life
When I was a student, I spent a couple of summers working at Visit Scotland in Aberdeen & Glasgow. It was an excellent way to meet people from all over the world, use my language skills, and share the joy of everything Scotland has to offer.
