I've been a freelance travel writer and photographer for the best part of 6 years now, having worked with the likes of Tourism Malaysia, easyJet, and the St Lucia Hotel & Tourism Association; I wrote the Tangier & Mediterranean section of the 2015 Fodor's guide to Morocco, recently worked as PR advisor to Visit Iceland, and I have had a cover story published in the National Geographic Traveller magazine. I am an elected Fellow of the prestigious Royal Asiatic Society, and the senior editor responsible for the Caucasus at a British Council funded political journal. And I have recently been shortlisted for an AITO Young Travel Writers Award and an Oman Air destination travel award.
