For more than a decade I've been writing about food, travel, and people in North Carolina and Beyond. As the author of Moon North Carolina, Moon Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and Moon Blue Ridge Parkway I've explored the Carolinas, Virginia, and Tennessee extensively, writing a number of print and online stories about destinations across those four states. Additionally I write for a trio of AAA magazines and contribute to a number of magazines and online outlets, and create content for tourism organizations across the southeast.
