In my current role, I am specialising in hotel feasibility studies (including appraisals of new hotel development projects), strategic development advice, operator selections (including contract negotiations), investment and market advisories and research, operational diagnosis, financial restructuring, buy side support, asset management and owners representation.
I am an alumnus of the Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne in Switzerland from which I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in International Hospitality Management with Honours and a specialization in Corporate and Real Estate Finance. I have also undertaken Cornell University’s Certificate Program in Hotel Real Estate Investments and Asset Management.
After gaining work experience in hotel finance and operations, I joined CBRE in 2014. Prior to joining CBRE, I was in Management Training as Finance Coordinator, at the Sofitel Luxury Hotels and Resorts Asia Pacific Corporate Office in Singapore, where I worked closely with the Regional Financial Controller and Business Analyst to provide the hotels of the region with constant support. It allowed me to gain a practical understanding of owner-operator relationships; reinforce my abilities to create business plans and financial projections; and familiarise myself with the performance of various Asia Pacific markets. Since joining CBRE in Sydney, I have gained significant experience by assisting on a number of advisory and feasibility as well as operator selection assignments throughout Australia and the South Pacific Islands.
I am Swiss and speak four languages: English, Spanish, German and French. Having grown up abroad for most of my life (in five continents), I enjoy travelling, meeting new people and learning about different cultures.
I would like to meet more people in the industry and share experiences together!
