I’m joining Travel Massive to connect with travel-industry professionals, learn how destinations, hotels, tour operators, and creators work together, and build genuine relationships as I grow Adventure Afoot. I’m especially interested in learning more about media opportunities, site visits, industry events, collaborations, and the practical side of building a respected travel publication.

The U.S. Virgin Islands are my favorite travel destination because each island has such a distinct personality. St. Thomas feels lively and energetic, St. John is peaceful and deeply connected to nature, and St. Croix has a slower, more cultural rhythm. I love the warm weather, beautiful water, and especially the people, who make the islands feel welcoming every time I visit.

I dream of traveling more slowly and spending enough time in each place to really experience it—not just pass through. I would love to live a more nomadic lifestyle, staying for a while in warm destinations such as Bali, while also spending meaningful time in places like Venice. I’m most drawn to destinations where I can settle into the local rhythm, learn the culture, and feel what everyday life is actually like.

Adventure Afoot is my first official job in the travel industry. Before that, I worked in the wedding industry and provided on-location services, so travel was still a regular part of my work. I spent years traveling to venues and destinations for weddings, which gave me experience working in unfamiliar places, adapting quickly, and understanding how much location and logistics shape an experience.

I want to learn more about how travel creators build meaningful industry relationships with tourism boards, hotels, tour operators, and destination marketers. I’m also interested in media opportunities, site visits, press trips, collaborations, affiliate partnerships, and how newer travel publishers can establish credibility and grow sustainably.
