It would be Croatia. I was stunned by the beautiful mountains, the saturation of the water and the trees . It just all felt like a painting. The slow life in the some of the smaller towns and delicious food. I cannot wait to go back.
Lately, that has been the 'stan ' countries. Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan... They don't seem like any other place I have been to. The mountains seem to go on for ever, the people are so kind and down to earth, the food looks so delicious.
