I have been a professional tour guide in San Francisco and the Bay Area since 1998. I specialize in custom tours using my background in history and political science. I'm a Certified Guide with the San Francisco Tour Guide Guild, and founding chair of their Ad Hoc Committee on Transportation. I also am a travel director, and have operated incentive and corporate programs for small groups and major corporations in the US, Canada and Mexico. My most treasured personal trips have been: traveling in Europe for a year; going around the world from San Francisco to San Francisco (80,000 miles) for a year. This included living on a cattle station in Western Australia, and driving completely around that entire country in a circle, from Meekatharra to Meekathara. I then traveled solo in the Far East, India/Pakistan/Kashmir, including hiking in the Annapurna region of Nepal.
