About me

Still hanging on to my manual typewriter and carbon paper just in case this internet thing doesn't work out.

In the meantime, I write travel, automotive and environmental articles for outlets including Orbitz, AAA and in-flight publications, US News & World Report, guidebook publishers including Fodor's, and a syndicated column, Green Wheeling.

My most recent paper guidebook is "Peaceful Places NYC: 129 Tranquil Sites".

Blogging at www.ecoXplorer.com, about green travel, green cars and saving the green in your wallet on both; and www.NYContheCheap.com, one-stop shopping for all things free and frugal in NYC.
