I’m Erick Hidalgo, a Costa Rican tourism entrepreneur, local driver, and founder of Costa Rica Trip Guide, the company behind Transportation in Costa Rica. Based in Heredia, I’ve been helping travelers explore my country since 2010.

Some of my favorite moments happen between destinations: a conversation on the road, a stop at a local restaurant, or the first glimpse of a landscape that makes someone put their phone down. Those moments shape how I work—with personal attention, local knowledge, and a warm Costa Rican welcome.

Alongside running my business, I’m actively involved in tourism transportation associations, advocating for fair opportunities for local businesses, professional service, and better connections across our industry.
