Born in South Africa and raised in southeast Queensland, I honed my craft for curating original and enriching experiences after moving to Cape Town following my university years, where I founded Kiff Kombi Tours in 2016. Taking visitors on an alternative exploration of the city’s top attractions and secret gems, Kiff Kombi Tours is still in operation and has been nominated for two prestigious awards: World’s Best Sustainable Tour Operator at the Global Youth Travel Awards in Edinburgh in 2018, and Cape Town’s Best Sightseeing Tour at the 2019 Cape Town Experiences Awards. Leading travel agency, TravelStart, has also rated Kiff Kombi Tours among the Best Tour Companies in South Africa.

I realised that the Kiff Kombi Tours concept was ideally suited to my old stomping ground, which is now known as one of regional Australia’s hottest food and drink destinations. Teaming up with old friend Alex, a Gold Coast local and comms and digital content whiz, we launched Kiff & Culture in mid-2021.
