Dodie Stephens is a destination storyteller with the Asheville Convention & Visitors Bureau since 2007. As director of communications she leads message development, integrated communications efforts and media relations, working with travel media to bring Asheville stories to life and developing multimedia initiatives to help visitors connect with destination news and experiences via ExploreAsheville.com channels. Dodie also serves on the executive committee for the Public Relations Society of America’s Travel & Tourism section.

Always planning her next camping adventure, she is a plunge taker, toe tapper, view collector, bird nerd, twin wrangler, intrepid taster, sip reciprocator and a life-long pun embracer.
