David Kolodny is an entrepreneur based in Miami, Florida, and the Co-Founder of Wilbur Labs, a startup studio focused on turning bold ideas into market-leading companies. Since starting Wilbur Labs with Phil Santoro in 2016, David has helped guide the development and growth of more than 21 companies across travel, ecommerce, pet care, recruitment, and financial services. His work has contributed to building category leaders such as VacationRenter, the fastest-growing travel startup to exceed $1 billion in annual gross bookings, and Barkbus, which has become the nation’s fastest-growing mobile dog-grooming company.

Before co-founding Wilbur Labs, David worked at Google from 2013 to 2016 as a Product Specialist on the Customer Solutions & Innovations team, where he focused on product strategy, user experience, and go-to-market execution.

David is an active contributor to conversations around entrepreneurship and company building. He co-hosts the Wilbur Labs Founder FAQ series with Phil Santoro and writes for publications including Inc. Magazine, Fast Company, and Entrepreneur Magazine. He was named to the Forbes “30 Under 30” list for Consumer Technology.

David graduated from the University of Michigan Stephen M. Ross School of Business in 2013 and now lives in Miami with his wife, Emily, and their sons Ellis and Cy.
