I joined to connect with people who are actively shaping the future of travel, exchange practical experiences and learn how new technology is being used across the industry. I’m especially interested in AI adoption, in-destination experiences, local knowledge and potential partnerships.

It’s difficult to choose only one, but my favourite city is definitely Venice. Despite the crowds, few places make it so easy to feel connected to their history.
In general, I’m drawn to places where I can dive deeply into the culture and understand how history shaped them, especially destinations that are less touristy. Venice is the big exception.

I’m almost always dreaming about travelling somewhere.
I would particularly love to explore more of the Middle East and Central Asia, including Syria, Iran, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. These regions are still a cultural blind spot for me, and I believe travelling there would be an incredibly rich experience. I hope the circumstances will allow it at some point.

Founding Joaia was my first job in travel.
The idea came from a personal problem I wanted to solve: I like travelling spontaneously and without planning everything in advance, but I still want depth. I want to understand the history, culture and meaning of a place whenever my curiosity is triggered, even if I did no research beforehand.

I want to understand how AI can become genuinely useful and accessible to travellers.
The technology already makes extraordinary things possible, but we have not yet found all the interfaces and interaction patterns that people will naturally adopt. Even the most AI-forward travellers are still only scratching the surface. I’m interested in discovering how we can turn that technological potential into something people actually understand, trust and use throughout a trip.
