G'day, I'm Daniela.

I’m an Australian travel writer, food journalist and a former restaurant critic. I’ve called Lisbon home since 2018, when I instantly fell for the beauty, flavours and variety of Portugal.

I left Australia and my job at a destination marketing board (@visitbrisbane) in early 2018 and started freelancing for tourism brands and businesses.

During that time I launched my Portugal-focused travel blog, Olá Daniela, which has since become my full-time job! It's my love letter to this gorgeous country.
