About me

Investor/Advisor @ Jabbrrbox. Co-Founder @ Brick & Wonder

Beyond Dan’s 25 years in advertising, design, marketing & technology, Dan has been CFO/COO and advisor to Summit (an invite-only community & destination event org described as part TED-talk, part Burning Man, part Davos), which produces news-making though leadership destination events (even chartering cruise ships). He also worked closely with the team developing a ski resort and whole new town on top of a mountain in Utah purchased by Summit.

Dan now focuses on advising startups in the marketing, SaaS, PropTech (property technology) and hospitality arenas.

Alongside this journey, Dan has always played in travel & hospitality. As far back as high school and college, he produced large scale group ski vacations in Canada where he grew up and New England. He launched a highly successful cruise travel agency in Ottawa, CruiseShipCenters, later sold to Expedia. He has been an extensive world traveler and even contributed to Patagonia catalogs and Lonely Planet publications. He has been a long-time investor in short-term rental properties, since before it was mainstream. Currently he is also co-founder or advisor to a number of startups that operate in the hospitality space including Brick & Wonder (a real estate design community which includes hospitality design) and Jabbrrbox (space-as-a-service, a network of private work & wellness booths in airports and other hospitality venues).
