I’m a lifelong traveler with nearly 30 years of exploring the world, guided by curiosity, connection, and a deep belief that travel shapes who we become. From early backpacking adventures to raising a family on the road, travel has been the throughline of my life.

I’m the co-founder of yTravelBlog, one of the longest-running travel blogs in the world, where I’ve spent over a decade sharing honest, experience-driven stories across six continents. My work has led to long-term partnerships with destinations and brands, while staying rooted in authenticity and lived experience, and has been recognized at the highest levels — including acknowledgement by the White House.

Closer to home, I’m also the founder of This Is Raleigh, a local travel and lifestyle platform created from the belief that exploration doesn’t have to be far away. What began as a pandemic pivot has grown into a trusted community resource that helps people connect more deeply with Raleigh’s neighborhoods, food, culture, and everyday adventures.

More recently, my work has expanded into the inner journey of travel and life. Through group travel, retreats, and my role within the Empowered Women’s Collective, I support women in reconnecting with themselves, their intuition, and a sense of abundance.

Whether I’m discovering a new destination or uncovering the magic of the place I call home, I believe travel — near or far — is one of our greatest teachers.
