I run Artsy Traveler, an arts-focused travel blog covering mostly western Europe and Canada, along with Costa Rica, Thailand and New Zealand, through the lens of arts and culture for independent travelers who skew 55+. I'm also a novelist with five published novels, the founder of Art In Fiction, a database of 2700+ novels set in the art world, and host of The Art In Fiction Podcast. I live on Bowen Island, BC, with my artist husband, Gregg Simpson, and I'm always plotting the next trip that lets me write off a museum visit as research.
