I moved to Rome with €600 in my pocket, a passion for history, and an urge to be a tour guide. This was meant to be for 6 months, but was now nearly 10 years ago. Between time living in Rome, I also spent a year in New York City and a year in Florence, but Rome just feels like home now. With a strong passion for Italy, I founded Messenger Travel, a boutique company that specialises in tailor-made Italian travel experiences, to ensure that travellers get to see the best of Italy. We want people to not just see Italy, but to truly experience it.
