Greetings from Manchester where I lead an academic team of lecturers and researchers who deliver an undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Tourism Management and undertake scholarly and commercial research. My industry experience comes from working in operations for an air charter broker. I am a member of the ITT Education and Training Committee to represent Manchester Met in steering and facilitating the ITT’s engagement with educational institutions. I am passionate about developing students’ employability and life-long learning for everyone. I believe the only way in which we can educate future leaders fit for the modern industry’s needs is through working with industry partners. I love unusual airports and aeroplanes, last year I took 95 flights, one of which was to Lukla, Nepal, one of the world’s most dangerous airports.
