I got my first passport to study German in Leipzig when I was 20, and that decision changed everything. What started as a year abroad turned into a lifelong love of travel. I travel to step outside my comfort zone, explore different ways of life, and return seeing the world—and myself—with a new perspective.
Over the years, I have lived in several European cities, including Berlin, Prague, and Sarajevo—I love them all! I am originally from Raleigh, North Carolina, but in recent years, I have called the Pacific Northwest, South Florida, and now the New York City metro area home. After seven years leading community engagement, program development, and strategic partnerships in the public sector, I am eager to make a career transition to the travel industry and follow my passion for global education, cultural immersion, and creating transformative travel experiences. Let's connect!
Most recent trip: Egypt (January 2025)
I recently relocated to the New York City metro area and am excited to join a community of like-minded people who are passionate about travel. I am excited to learn more about the travel industry, explore new opportunities, and expand my professional network. Cheers!
Thailand. One of my favorite memories is of riding a motorbike in the mountains around Pai—so dreamy!
Everywhere! BUT, if I had to pick one (or two): Explore the wine region of Chile/Argentina, and an Amazon adventure from Manaus.
I am actively seeking my first role in the travel industry this year. For the past seven years, I have worked in the public sector with various transportation agencies, where I gained a strong foundation in community and stakeholder engagement, program and project management, strategic partnerships, communications, and contract and vendor oversight. These are tangible, transferable skills that I am eager to apply in the travel space.
I would like to learn more about travel design development and the management of DMC partnerships. Given my background, I believe I would thrive in these areas and am eager to gain a deeper understanding of day-to-day operations.
