About Him
Albert Peter Ssemakula is the visionary behind Alpha Adventure Safaris, a prominent inbound tour operator headquartered in Kampala, Uganda. What began as an impromptu driving job during Uganda’s 2007 Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) transformed into a deep calling. It was in that moment—when he stepped in at short notice to drive visitors—that he noticed a gap between tourists and the local communities.
I joined Travel Massive to connect with a global community of travel professionals, share knowledge, and build partnerships that promote sustainable and responsible tourism. I want to learn the best practices for accomplishing tasks, share innovative ideas, and collaborate on projects. These projects will show off eco-tourism and community-based travel in Uganda and East Africa, and help create genuine travel experiences.
