I’ve been a travel writer for the past 15 years and have been committed to delivering the most accurate and detailed travel news tailored for the discerning traveler. My journalistic goal is to craft compelling content centered on expedition travel, cruises, aviation, and other facets of the travel landscape. The crux of my mission is to offer readers the latest updates, invaluable tips, and comprehensive travel resources. My travel articles have appeared in such publications as Travel & Leisure, Conde Nast Traveler, Porthole Magazine, AARP Bulletin, Hospitality Design Magazine, and many others.
Beyond my role in travel journalism, I boast a seasoned career as a political journalist, holding master's degrees in both International Relations from SIPA and English literature at Columbia University. I was a political journalist at The New York Daily News for nearly 15 years, where I covered a spectrum of topics including New York City Hall & Politics. As well as domestic and international affairs. Recognized for my excellence in reporting, I have been invited to share my insights on the travel industry for ten consecutive years at The New York Times Travel Show. As a member of the Society of American Travel Writers, I am deeply invested in the journalistic exploration of our world, and my fervor lies in delivering news that resonates with the innate explorer in each of us.

Heritage travel helps to bring the world full circle and make it smaller. It gives one a sense of place in the world knowing where they come from. It also reminds us of how lucky we are to have the luxuries and necessities.
