My Career in the Tourism industry started during 2005 when I guided tours as a freelance guide for many a Tour Operator. My roots started to settle in with Ashtons Tours and for 4 years I guided adventure tours to the Greater Kruger Area for Ashtons Tours. In January 2010 Ashtons Tours Launched a new daily shuttle service between Johannesburg & Hoedspruit and soon after that, I became a permanent employee with them. As we grew my role in the company changed and worked my way up to the position of Operations Director and a vested interest in the company. The COVID-19 Pandemic brought Ashtons Tours to their knees and the company closed down and went into liquidation. Having more than 15 years of experience in Tourism I assisted ex-employees of Ashtons to start a new business called SWIFT Kruger Shuttles and freelance and assist with digital marketing, stratedy, operations, and guiding.
